| The Arthritis Society’s signature event, the Walk to Fight Arthritis takes place on Sunday, June 10, 2012 and provides 1 and 5km route options. This event unites communities in supporting the nearly 4.5 million Canadians living with arthritis and helps to fund research, advocacy and solutions to improve the quality of life for those living with arthritis and their families. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to take part in our event. We need volunteers to fill various roles throughout the day. | We're All Young Now is a one-day electronic music festival being held outside Alderney Landing (and then inside Alderney Landing) next Sunday. Part of National Youth Arts Week, this event features some of the region's best up-and-coming electronic music producers, including: Dezza, P-80, and Dono & The Real Molloy. This is going to be the event that puts Halifax's electronic scene on the map. We're currently looking for some volunteers to help us get the event off the ground. Volunteers will get: a feeling of pride in their work, satisfaction in helping their community, and... ...Free stuff! Anyone who helps out will be rewarded with free admission to the nighttime event, and a We're All Young Now t-shirt.
