Do you love to read, think, and discuss? Are you interested in reading the great thinkers of Western Civilization, like Plato, Dante, Shakespeare, Marx, Du Bois, and De Beauvoir? HALIFAX HUMANITIES 101 is an "obstacle free course" in philosophy and literature taught by university professors for adults living on low incomes. Eight months of classes held Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the North Branch Library, beginning September 25.
